Product Assistant
This well established and fast-growing travel brand specialise in villa holidays, with a large portfolio of properties in Europe & the USA, and a reputation for delivering unforgettable experiences. They now now have an opportunity for a Product Assistant to join them on an initial 1 year fixed term contract, to play a key role in driving performance through pricing, promotions, and data accuracy. Whether you’re a recent graduate with a commercially focused degree or someone with early experience in product, pricing, revenue, or data analysis, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in a dynamic, customer-focused travel business.
Product Assistant - Role & Responsibilities:
In this varied and fast-paced role, you’ll support the commercial team in optimising product performance and ensuring data accuracy across platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and analysing commercial performance to identify trends and opportunities
- Implementing pricing strategies and promotional activity to drive bookings
- Maintaining accurate product and pricing data across internal systems and the website
- Supporting the sales team with product-related queries
- Liaising with international suppliers and assisting with supplier sourcing
- Ensuring all product systems are up to date and error-free
- Assisting with commercial reporting and data entry (CRM, Salesforce, booking systems)
Product Assistant - Skills & Experience Required:
We’re looking for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with data to drive decisions.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills with a relevant Maths, Statistics, Economics or other business related degree
- Working knowledge of Word & Excel
- Comfortable working in a data-driven environment
- Previous experience working in the travel industry in a commercial or product role would be beneficial but full training will be provided
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written English and communication skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
- A positive, can-do and a flexible attitude
- A genuine interest in the travel industry
