Business Development Manager required by an Asia-Specialist Touring Supplier, around 38K, with OTE up to 50K. You will grow business with tour operators in the German, Austrian and Swiss Travel Market by pitching for new partnerships and by nurturing long-standing ones. Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
Source new business opportunities and pitch for new commercial partnerships
Establish and maintenance of more long-standing trade relationships
Deliver growth with existing partners
Create a programme of activity; sales calls, training & promotional activity
Strategy and Analysis with senior management
Conduct training with partners
Attend Trade Shows
Manage new client implementation
Business Development Manager Skills and Experience:
Sales/Business Development/Account Management OR Product Management experience from the Travel Industry
German Language fluency is a benefit, but not essential
Passion for Travel
Self-motivation
Strong Commercial acumen
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills
Business Development Manager Additional Info:
This role requires flexibility to travel. Office time depends upon your location, but maximum is once a week at London Office.
Long Haul travel, infrequently
Generally Mon-Fri, but flexibility is required
Salary circa 38K, OTE of £50K
