An old friend’s stories of world travel inspired me to throw on a backpack and find my way to Bangkok, and after that infamous first night of Sang Som Rum and Connect 4, I think I'd decided I wanted a lot more of the same.
I did lots more of the same. For the best part of a year.
When I returned to the UK, I scored a job with STA Travel and I spent 3 years tailoring round the world trips similar to my own.
