Indian Subcontinent Travel Consultant

Award-Winning, Tailormade Tour Operator are looking for a new Travel Consultant to specialise in the Indian Subcontinent. You will curate bespoke, immersive experiences around India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal. Salary 28K plus commission, with an uplift upon successful completion of probation. Role is based in Belfast with 3 days per week spent in the office with the team and 2 days from home. Plus, familiarisation travel to the Subcontinent!

Travel Consultant – Indian Subcontinent Specialist;

Responsibilities:

• Creation of tailormade itineraries to the Indian Subcontinent
• Planning, pricing and refining trip itineraries
• Conversion of warm sales leads into confirmed bookings
• Collation and provision of all client travel documentation and presenting high-quality itineraries  
• Maintenance of product/destination expertise and commercial knowledge of suppliers and travel logistics
• Foster strong working relationships with both trade partners and colleagues

Travel Consultant – Indian Subcontinent Specialist; Experience Required:

We are looking for a candidate with Travel Industry Sales experience who also possesses strong product and destination knowledge of the Indian Subcontinent; preferably from specialising in the region within their current travel sales role.
