Senior Travel Specialist
This successful travel company pride themselves in providing enriching holiday experiences to a wide range of hand picked worldwide destinations, with an emphasis on adventure. As they expand their product portfolio they are now looking for an experienced Senior Travel Specialist to their small team in their central Brighton office. Basic salary of up to £38k dependent on experience plus bonus, hybrid working.

Senior Travel Specialist – Role & Responsibilities:
- Responding to incoming calls and emails, using your expert knowledge of long haul destinations to provide advice to customers, guiding them through the sales process and beyond to look after them every step of the way.
- Creating dream holidays, tailoring quotes to match customers’ requirements perfectly, whilst working to sales targets.
- Providing an efficient, customer focused service throughout the booking and after sales process.
- Build professional, meaningful relationships with overseas suppliers and in collaboration with colleagues, develop the product in your specialist areas.
- Contribute to content on website and other marketing campaigns.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in travel sales, selling long haul trips for a UK based tour operator.
- First hand experience of travel to Asia, Australasia, South America, Africa with strong long haul destination knowledge.
- Proven success working in a target based travel sales role.
- Results driven and pro-active with a motivation to learn and increase your product range.
- Commercially astute with the ability to proactively seek opportunities.
- Genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Ability to manage and prioritise an ever changing workload, with the ability to adapt and multi task.
- Driven to succeed with resilience and passion for travel.
- Basic salary of £34k to £38k depending on experience plus bonus.
- Hybrid working – equivalent to circa 3 days per week in a friendly, sociable & supportive team. Opportunity to work alongside like minded travel enthusiasts!
- Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30 (Saturdays only worked in January & February on a rota basis!)
