Aviation Operations Manager

Aviation Operations Manager required for this successful tour operator located in Surrey. You will be leading the Aviation Operations team and ensure the smooth, efficient delivery of aviation services across their portfolio. This role is Monday to Friday on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office and comes with a salary of up to £45,000.

Aviation Operations Manager responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of Aviation Executives (in?house and outsourced).
• Oversee ticketing across Amadeus and third?party systems, including issuance, reissues, and changes.
• Manage capacity, group contracts, and operational workflows.
• Monitor Amadeus queues, airline notifications, and internal controls.
• Support schedule change management with Product and Programme Change teams.
• Act as the Aviation representative in incident response situations.
• Strengthen reporting, reconciliation, and operational processes.

Aviation Operations Manager skills required:

• Strong aviation operations background, including group agreements and tour operating.
• Skilled Amadeus user across fares, ticketing, and group fare management.
• Proven people leader with excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
• Highly organised, analytical, and detail?focused, with a drive for efficiency and improvement.
• Flexible, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure when needed.
