Travel Consultant

Due to growth our client, the travel arm of a large media organisation, are seeking 2 Travel Consultants to join their team booking luxury and tailormade holidays including cruises, touring and bespoke itineraries. The role can be either remote or hybrid in their London office and comes with a base salary of £30,000 with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission with OTE of up to £60,000.

Travel Consultant responsibilities:

• Handle enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and live chat
• Create bespoke luxury itineraries across cruise, touring, and tailor?made travel
• Manage bookings, confirmations, invoicing, and post?sales support
• Work directly with hotels, airlines, cruise lines, and tour operators
• Proactively generate new enquiries and meet sales targets
• Upload itineraries to our CMS and support marketing projects

Travel Consultant skills required:

• Strong retail travel sales experience, ideally in luxury and cruise
• Proven success converting enquiries into bookings
• Confident communication skills across phone and digital channels
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Creative flair for designing standout itineraries
• Good destination knowledge (Australia, NZ, USA, Canada, Asia a bonus)

Additional information/benefits:

• Monday–Friday 9am–6pm (rostered), Saturday 10am–5pm (on a roster)
