Travel Administrator
This leading specialist tour operator, are looking for a Travel Administrator to join their successful team in a varied administration and operations role, with the overall objective of ensuring all arrangements are in place for customers before travel.

Travel Administrator - Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for loading contracts onto internal systems
  • Ensure all offer, prices & content are correct and kept updated
  • Liaison with suppliers to manage hotel availability, allocations & stop sales and receive regular reports and customer updates.
  • Ensure customer transfers are planned and booked
  • Support customers with handling after sales enquiries & amendments and respond to customer correspondence.
  • Manage balance due process and ensure pre departure information is sent to customers at the appropriate time
  • Completion of all after sales / pre & post travel customer administration
  • Build & maintain strong working relationships with UK and overseas staff and suppliers

Travel Administrator - Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in the travel industry preferred but training will be provided
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Capacity to co-ordinate and prioritise tasks
  • Self motivated, with a positive, flexible attitude
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel & Teams
  • A love of Ski!

Travel Administrator - Additional Information:

  • September start date
  • Salary circa £20k to £22k, dependent on experience
  • Mon to Friday - 9 to 5.30 but flexible part time hours also considered
  • Saturdays on a rota in Jan & Feb
  • Fully home based but with the occasional visit to office in Hampshire for training days and team get togethers.
  • Opportunities to travel to visit the resorts featured.
  • End of season team ski trip (dependent on targets met).
  • Full training provided.
