Product & Commercial Executive
This unique specialist travel company are looking for a Product & Commercial Executive to join their inspiring team. This company operate an array of wonderful historical and cultural tours both within the UK and to worldwide destinations. As Product & Commercial Executive you will support the Head of Commercial in the delivery of revenue and GP targets, create and maintain accurate prices, and support the creation of new tours. This role is fully home based with a basic salary of circa £30k and is an excellent opportunity to join this team of experts.

Product & Commercial Executive - Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support weekly/monthly review and analysis of GP movement, and identification of any contributory system errors. Update the back-end system where possible.
  • Support commercial decisions to improve GP for current and future tours.
  • Create & maintain pricing spreadsheets as required for brochure or other marketing activity and update once costs confirmed.
  • Assist in generating and executing price changes and respond to pricing enquiries from sales team.
  • Proof content as required to ensure accuracy against booking system and pricing summary documents and keep updated to reflect relevant changes or discounts etc. Ensure changes in discounts & prices to new & existing tours are reviewed and updated on website.
  • Oversee workload supplied to the outsource team and verify packages & tour departures are loaded correctly according to deadlines and pricing and discount changes are implemented.
  • Support the creation of new product and load ad hoc packages to the booking system, updating when needed with changes to tours, costings and errata.
  • Create and develop tours for new and existing suppliers contracted in 'bulk' and any ad hoc requests for bespoke tours.

Product & Commercial Executive - Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in a commercial, pricing, revenue management or product role in the travel industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent working knowledge of excel.
  • Travel Studio experience would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload and according to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to collaborate across all levels both internally and externally.

Product & Commercial Executive - Additional Information:

  • Salary circa £30k
  • Office based, hybrid or fully home based.
  • Monday to Friday 9 to 5
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
