Our client, a leading service provider to travel companies, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Agent to join their growing team. The role is varied, dealing with well known tour operators and travel companies and responsible for all post booking and pre-travel queries. The ideal candidate will be based in the North West working Monday-Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays. The salary is up to £25,000 dependent on experience.
Customer Service Agent responsibilities:
- Answer and respond to customers post booking queries via phone, email or chat
- Resolve any issues with existing booking such as amendments, refunds, payments etc..
- Provide advice on travel arrangements and any issues in a calm and timely manner
- Maintain customer records and transactions
Customer Service Agent skills required:
- 2 years experience in the travel industry
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in travel booking and back office systems
- Proactive, positive and confident attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
