Business Development Manager (Self-Employed) - Corporate Travel - Fully Remote. We are seeking experienced sales professionals with background working for a Travel Management Company (TMC) to join an award winning business.

Why go self-employed? Ultimately you will not only have as much flexibility as you need to work when and where you like, but the earning potential is far greater that most employed BDM's can achieve as you will receive commission (around 10%) on the clients you sign for the lifetime of that account, not just the first 12 months which is more common with employed roles.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all aspect of the sales process from generating leads and identifying new potential partnerships, building a healthy sales pipeline of potential new business, managing the RFP process, writing proposals, making client presentations and closing the deals. You will receive lots of support but ultimately decide how best to achieve the end results whether that's through networking at events, cold calling, travel to visit clients as well as conducting meetings online.

Business Development Manager Skills Required

  • A proven successful track record in sales gained in the corporate travel industry.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen
  • Highly self-motivate and driven


Business Development Manager Additional Details
