Yes, one of the main reasons that people seek a new position is because they're underpaid. Why would you stay in a low-paying job when there are other roles out there?
With a lack of money can also come a lack of motivation, so seeing which other travel jobs are available could be a great option.
You dread the thought of getting up in the morning
If your Sundays are ruined by the thought of what Monday holds, then it's time to find a new role.
There are plenty of other jobs out there, so why waste your life in a travel job that you hate? Try speaking to your boss about a new job within the same company, but if that doesn't work, then it's probably time to move on.
You can't stand your colleagues
When you can't even bear to be in the same room as your colleagues, it's probably time to consider seeking out a new position.
If you love every other part of your current role, then perhaps you can stick it out - remember, your colleagues won't be there forever. But if you hate your job and also hate your fellow workers, then it could be time to call it quits.
There's nothing left to learn
Once you've been doing the same travel job for years it becomes a blessing to be able to learn a new skill, but if there's nothing left to learn then it becomes increasingly tempting to search elsewhere.
Try to take on a more challenging role at your present company or attend a training course before looking for a new position.
The company's going downhill
Finally, if the signs are ominous at your current company, then don't wait
until you're made redundant.
Before jumping ship, try to find out the exact position of the company from someone you trust, but if the outlook's grim, then the answer's obvious - it's time to find yourself a new role.
