| Description: |
The successful Commercial Executive will be rewarded with a basic salary of upto GBP 28,000.00, dependant on experience, 20 days holiday, free car paring and staff travel and holiday concessions. The Commercial Executive will be working for a leading and well-known fast growing tour operator within their commercial department based in West Yorkshire.
Within the role of Commercial Executive you will - Understand the Companys business and its operation, paying particular attention to the product and commercial requirements of the business. - Work in close collaboration with the Contractors/Partner Hoteliers to attain favorable late bed prices to package with late and distressed seat availability - Analyse competitors pricing and factors that may have an impact on supply, demand and/or yield, highlighting these to ensure future profit/volume targets are achieved. - Work closely with the Product, Commercial and Marketing departments to understand sales activity and trends, whilst keeping up to date with current activity that may effect travel decisions - Constantly monitor demand in the Late Holidays market, assessing peaks and troughs and recommending commercial margin adjustments at date, route, destination, resort and hotel level - Maintain the margin management system regularly reporting findings to management To be successful in the role of Commercial Executive you will - Have previous experience working for a Tour Operator, Airline, Seat Broker, Hotel or Cruise Company within revenue or margin management - Have a sound knowledge of the travel industry - Experience within the late holiday market - Be an effective team player who has previously worked with multiple departments - Have the ability to work independently - Have evidence of achieving and exceeding targets To apply for the role of Commercial Executive please call Paul on 01612384481, or send an up to date CV to paulm@candm.co.uk or apply below.
