A leading, independent retail travel company is currently seeking a Retail Travel Branch Manager for their busy Kettering branch, South East of Leicester city center. This Retail Travel Branch Manager position, offers a basic salary of between £16,000.00 and £19,000.00 dependent on experience, plus monthly bonus scheme, as well as pension, generous staff discounts, concessions and educational. This Branch Managers role is based on working 5 days in 7.
Within the role of Retail Travel Branch Manager you will: - Performance manage a team of travel consultants and an Assistant Manager to inspire, motivate and encourage self development - Achieve all personal and store targets - Be aware of competitor activity and be motivated to drive your sales team leading by example As a successful Retail Travel Branch Manager you will: - Have previously worked in a Retail Travel Branch, as a Retail Travel Branch Manager, Travel Sales Manager, Team Manager, Travel Assistant Manager or similar - Be motivated with a determination to achieve and drive a sales team to success - Display a hands on approach, coaching, developing and performance managing staff on a day-to-day basis - Have experience of conducting personal 1-1's with staff, performance reviews, team reviews, on the spot feedback and team training - Be sales motivated and have the ability to exceed sales targets and lead from the front - Have previous experience of people managing We would also consider an Assistant Branch Manager or Retail Sales Manager or Travel Team Manager who are looking for experience in the next step up.
