The successful Senior Pricing Analyst will be rewarded with a basic salary of GBP 28,000 dependant on experience, 22 days holiday, free car parking, normal office hours and pension. The Senior Pricing Analyst will be working for a leading and well known travel brand that has been established for over 20 years and working from their Head office which is commutable for individuals based in Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Due to the expansion of the Revenue and Yield Management team the Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for further development of the pricing and revenue strategy. This new role would be ideal for an experienced Pricing Analyst looking for a career move. It will see you leading a team of three pricing analysts to optimise accommodation revenue across all product areas. Youll achieve this by maximising occupancy and managing price, promotions and ancillary revenue The Senior Pricing Analyst will also be responsible for: - Development of pricing analyst team whilst reviewing and amending accommodation pricing in line with product demand - Best revenue and yield management practice - Detailed yield performance monitoring, pricing changes and reporting requirements for their own specific product - Reporting business performance and trends and highlighting areas for concern where promotional activity may be required to the Pricing and Yield Manager - Working alongside Sales and Marketing teams for promotional and pricing literature The Pricing Analyst will have the following skills: - Experience in an analytical environment from a background within either a pricing or revenue management environment within Travel , Airline, Hotel or Tour Operations, having worked as a Senior Pricing Analyst or a very experienced Analyst looking for the next step up - excellent analytical skills, a high degree of accuracy, a high level of competency in Excel and the ability to write management reports.
