An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a large Independent Travel Agency, in their busy Product and Commercial department, based in Rotherham. Working as a Product and Commercial Assistant in their Delivery Team, you will be rewarded with a basic salary of upto GBP20,000, 20 days holiday, pension scheme and free on site parking. Based in Rotherham or the Yorkshire area, the successful Product and Commercial Assistant for the Delivery Team would have the ability to: -Manage the content and marketing of all Travel sales channels/routes to market for direct distribution -Aid in the delivery of the Destination and Commercial strategy -Ensure products featured on each website/sales channel are accurate, relevant and supports the Destination & Commercial strategy -Build, develop and manage key relationships within the Travel industry The Product and Commercial Assistant for the Delivery Team would be required to have: -A good solid background in the Travel industry from a Retail/ Branch/ Tour Operator, having worked as a Retail Travel Manager/Travel Store Manager/Travel Branch Manager or Assistant Travel Manager -Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively -Excellent organisation skills -Ability to analyse management information and interpret social, market and industry trends -Can work under pressure and within time constraints -Excellent attention to detail -Strong Commercial Accumen This role would particularly suit those who have been a Retail Travel/ Branch/ Call Centre /Assistant Manager/Manager/ Team Leader/ Assistant Reservations Manager that is now looking for a move into a Commmercial role. You will work Monday - Friday , with hours between 9 - 5pm, The successful Product and Commercial Assistant for the Delivery Team, will be rewarded with a competitive basic salary of upto GBP20,000.
