An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a multiple-award-winning tour operator, who is also one of the worlds most recognised brands. Offering a superb package and benefits and operating out of modern offices, this opportunity should not be missed. This is a fixed term one year contract. Head of Central Services responsibilities: - Manager the costing, pricing, database and contract services functions ensuring all processes are controlled to maximise sales opportunities. - Ensure costs controlled and are loaded accurately - Develop quality assirnace programme to ensure data is accurate. - Control reservations systems infrastructure to ensure constant bookability - Control ground inventory. - Develop departmental plan for objectives for Central services. - Define and build the plan to migrate platforms. - management review of systems and industry developments Head of Central Services skills required: - Extensive Travel industry experience - Extensive Management experience - Outsourcing experience would be a plus. - Experience of Project Management - Proven track record of controlling multiple teams. - Excellent staff motivation skills. - Knowledge of tour operating reservation, GDS pricing, costing and contracting systems. - Knowledge of working practices of Viewdata, Call Centre and web processes.
