An exciting new development for American Express Travel means they are expanding their team of Travel Consultants. Amex were voted in The Times Top 20 Companies To Work For in 2006, 2007 & 2008 As a Travel Reservations Consultant, you will: - Arrange worldwide leisure holidays & business travel for VIP American Express card members - Create tailor made itineraries, which include booking the finest hotels, villas and private islands combined with flight reservations using Sabre CRS. - This is an inbound call centre environment so you will work to quality, customer service and sales targets In order to apply, you must have the following experience: - American Express customers travel worldwide so good geographical knowledge is a must - Previous travel industry experience is essential as is a genuine passion for travel - Business travel, leisure travel or travel reservations background is preferred - Substantial office based or contact centre experience is essential - IT literacy: use of internet search sites and reservation system or databases In return for your commitment, you will be rewarded with a fantastic starting salary of GBP17,300 - GBP19,000 per year, dependent on experience, plus a shift allowance of GBP1296 per year.
