An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Claims Handler & Claims handler, to join this specialist travel insurance company. This is a great chance for an existing Claims Handler, to work within the exciting market of travel, where no day is the same. They are offering as excellent basic salary, with fantastic flexi benefits too. Responsibilities for a Senior & Claims Handler -Efficiently handle all claims allocated by the team leader, within given authority levels. -To ensure the claims process is adhered to and within the standard procedures -Refer all claims which fall outside personal authority levels to the team leader -To administer and maintain all claims records in line with FSA/TCP processes -To assist in establishing, developing and maintaining customer relationships as determined by the team leader Skills Required -Previous experience as a Claims Handler for an insurance comany -Will be required to complete the Chartered Insurance Institute, Foundation Insurance Test as part of technical ability (FSA). -Demonstrates commitment/focus in dealing with day-to-day tasks. -Uses familiar information available to make day-to-day decisions in own area.
