Prestigious and long established specialist accommodation, meetings and event management service providing company based in Cheadle seeking a Conference Consultant. Salary up to GBP15,420 dependent on industry knowledge plus excellent and varied benefits package including pension, life assurance and company sick pay As a Conference Consultant you will Co-ordinate client requests relating to conference and other related services, this involves Venue sourcing (mainly UK based hotels) Liaising with clients mainly by telephone, dealing with queries, complaints, cancellations, rate negotiations, briefs, proposals, confirmations and finalisation of bookings Dealing with all related administrative duties using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email As a Conference Consultant you will ideally have Experience of working in a hotel or conference company dealing with conference bookings Previous venue sourcing experience Excellent communication skills (spoken and by written correspondence) Minimum of 2 GCSEs grade C or above in Mathematics and English - or equivalent qualifications Competent in use of MS Word and MS Excel Good Geographical knowledge Ability to plan and organise own work with excellent attention to detail and accuracy In return for your role as a Conference Consultant you will Receive a salary of GBP14,392 to GBP15,420 dependent on industry knowledge Be working a 37.5-hour week between the hours of 8am and 6.30pm (Monday to Friday) Benefits including contributory pension scheme, life assurance, and company sick pay To apply for this Conference Consultant role please call Gillian on 0161 238 4486 or send CV to gillianm@candm.co.uk quoting GM554 |
