Prestigious and established Business Travel Company with offices based in Derby, seeking Conference Consultant. Salary up to GBP13,000 plus pension, life assurance and starting on 23 days holiday entitlement. As a Conference Consultant you will Be working as part of a team, servicing clients for their conference requirements Source suitable venues for the conferences and keep clients updated Process bookings, cancellations, amendments and work checking Action e-mails, faxes and on-line bookings Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately both verbally and in writing, following set procedures when providing information to clients Attend at least 3 educationals a year to increase product knowledge As a Conference Consultant you will ideally Have knowledge of the Travel Industry gained through hands on experience Be experienced in handling group reservations and conference bookings for a multitude of venues/suppliers Be proficient in MS Office, Excel and Word Have excellent communication skills - verbal and written Have strong planning and organizational skills with ability to work to deadlines and to work under pressure In return for your roles as a Conference Consultant, you will receive A competitive salary up to GBP13,000 dependent on previous experience gained A contributory pension after qualifying period Life Assurance after qualifying period Working Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm Starting on 23 days holiday (rising to 27 days over time) To apply for this Conference Consultant role please call Gillian on 0161 238 4486 or email CV to gillianm@candm.co.uk quoting GM547 |
