A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this global financial service provider/travel company in their corporate meeting solutions team based on site working on behalf of one of their clients. You will be joining a team of 10 who arrange meetings and events for up to 2000 delegates, your main focus wull be to negotiate and source hotels and venues worldwide. They will pay an excellent salary + benefits for the successful candidate with the above experience. Sourcing specialists duties -Source and negotiate rates for meetings and conferences or up to 2000 people in worldwide locations -Build and maintain key relationships with clients and suppliers -Report back to the manager with your findings 3 days after the initial request skills required -Proven experience of sourcing and meeting planning within the group the group travel industry -Advanced contract negotiating skills with proven cost savings -The ability to independently handle multiple projects in a fast paced, time sensitive environment -Proven experience with budget development -A demonstrable track record of sourcing global destinations -Willingness to accommodate global time zones as needed If you are interested in this role in West London please call Duncan on 0207 397 1287 quoting DT1963 or send your cv to duncant@candm.co.uk |
