Do you want to work for one of the leading Upmarket names in travel? This multi-award winning tour operator based in London is looking for a Southern Africa Travel Consultant. They offer a fantastic working environment, excellent basic salary with commission on top, educationals and great travel benefits.This is a great chance for a Travel Agent, to work for a leading luxury travel brand in their reservations sales team, and an opportunity that shouldnt be missed, because this will be a great career move! Southern Africa Travel Agent - Duties -Making reservations of brochure tours, mainly to South Africa, Namibia & Botswana -Designing, costing and selling tailor-made itineraries to the above area and giving holiday advice -Using CRS Southern Africa Travel Agent - Skills Required -Excellent knowledge of South Africa, Namibia & Botswana -It is ESSENTIAL you have travelled extensively to South Africa, Namibia & Botswana - ideally on a backpacking or independent travelling basis -Previous travel industry experience, ideally in reservations, is preferred (but not essential) -Excellent written and spoken English Further Southern Africa Travel Agent Information - In return for your commitment, you will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary of up to GBP19,719 plus the chance to earn commission on top. You will also be entitled to other benefits including: -20 days holiday (rising after qualifying periods) -Monthly bonus subject to hitting sales targets -Educational, after probation completed usually 5 days in the first year. -Working days and hours are Mon-Fri 0900-1730 or 0930-1800 plus 1 Saturday per month 0930-1300 IMPORTANT NOTE - Applications will only be accepted from those with the relevant travelling experience in in South Africa, Namibia & Botswana as a bare minimum, any other Southern Africa destinations are an advantage - please provide a cover letter with details on it like, where you have travelled to within South Africa, Namibia & Botswana, how you got to each destination and the dates you were at each country/place, (just having been born in Africa, or lived in one African country is NOT enough).
