The Operations Manager will be rewarded was a basic salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience plus a bonus, 25 days holiday, free car parking, staff travel and holiday concessions. The successful candidate will be working for a leading travel brand and fast growing tour operator based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Within the role of Operations Manager you will be responsible for all reservations and sales support operations including customer services and administration and will:
- Be the line manager for the operations team including individuals in the role of call centre team manager for sales, reservations, administration, customer service and sales support - Recruit additional staff for the operations and call centre sales team - Be responsible for implementing and setting up of the operations and call centre sales team alongside the commercial general manager and customer service manager - Deal with any escalated issues from customers or suppliers
Individuals that have been successful within similar roles as Operations Manager have had: - Experience of working within a similar role as Operations Manager from within the travel industry ideally from a Tour Operator background - Commercial understanding of delivering targets and customer service KPIs through reservations, sales, customer services and operations consultants - An understanding of complex operations processes and procedures within travel - Strong commercial acumen - Experience of start up operations within travel and sales or customer services departments
