Do you want to work for one of the leading Upmarket names in travel? This multi-award winning tour operator based in London is looking for an India Reservation Travel Consultant. India Reservations Travel Consultant - Duties: - Making reservations of brochured tours in India - Designing, costing and making reservations of tailor-made itineraries - Giving holiday advice - Using CRS India Reservations Travel Consultant - Skills required: - Excellent knowledge of India, especially Rajasthan. Previous personal travel experience - It is ESSENTIAL you have travelled extensively within India (backpacking or independent travel) - just coming from India or visiting on holidays occasionally is NOT enough - Previous travel industry experience, ideally in reservations, is preferred (but not essential) - Excellent written and spoken English Further Information In return for your commitment, you will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary of up to GBP19,719 plus the chance to earn commission on top. You will also be entitled to other benefits including: -20 days holiday (rising after qualifying periods) -Monthly bonus subject to hitting sales targets -Educational, after probation completed usually 5 days in the first year. -Working days and hours are Mon-Fri 0900-1730 or 0930-1800 plus 1 Saturday per month 0930-1300 IMPORTANT NOTE - Applications will only be accepted from those with the relevant travelling experience in in India would be an advantage.
