The successful Retail Branch Manager will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to GBP 25,000 with an OTE of GBP 27,500, company car, work Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm, NO Weekends and receive 23 days holidays plus bank holidays. The successful Retail Branch Manager will be working for Scotlands leading independent commercial car and van hire company that has been in operation for over 20 years in their retail branch based in Glasgow. Within the role of Retail Branch Manager you will be: - The driving force behind this well established car hire rental and van leasing branch - Be a natural leader and manager who can successfully deliver set sales targets whilst driving exceptional customer service and deliver the companies service promise to both commercial and consumer customers. - Youll draw on your commercial and sales management knowledge to plan and deliver your branchs business, formulating local marketing plans in order to increase the client database and grow sales and revenue streams - Analyse competitors within the car hire rental and van leasing local market in order to maximise sales performance targets against such competitors Individuals that have been successful within similar roles of a Retail Branch Manager have either come from a similar role within the car hire leasing industry or alternatively have experience of working within the travel industry having fulfilled roles such as a retail travel manager or retail travel assistant manager and have: - Good communication skills and be able to motivate and encourage good teamwork - Strong people management skills to develop their staff, enjoying a challenge and working to sales targets. - Have experience of managing a sales and customer service team from either the car hire rental industry or retail travel industry.
