A fantastic opportunity has occured for a Hotel Contractor, to join this leading name in travel, to cover Hotel Contracting for Ireland and the UK. This multi-award winning up market tour operator who are based in the West End, are looking to expand their team, and are renowned for excellence through out the travel industry in these exciting times. This role for Hotel Contracting, comes with a great basic salary up to GBP35k(depending on experience), pension, dicounted holidays and other great travel benefits. This is a great chance to work for a leading luxury travel brand, and one that shouldnt be missed! Hotel Contractor - Duties -Contracting hotels in Ireland and then the in accordance to the sales office and FIT requirements -Building up Ireland as a new FIT destination for this tour operator destination management company -Controlling and supporting big movements, fairs/events/congresses and controlling utilisation -Contracting allotments for Group/F.I.T business in major cities to cover Sales Office/FIT needs -Maintaining personal contacts with suppliers and build up good relationship. Skills Required -Contracting & negotiation experience, ideally tour operator experience and/or experience of Hotel accommodation contracting. -Good destination knowledge of Irish hotels with contracting experience -Strong commercial acumen along and you must be accurate and thorough. ·Good communicator who is atonomous, motivated, enthusiastic, adaptable with a positive out look Additional Information -Basic salary up to GBP35k basic(depending on experience), pension, dicounted holidays and other great travel benefits. -Office hours: 0900 - 1800 (these are general office hours. However, with this position flexi-time would be negotiable. Also possible to work from home although this would not be contracted in.
