Great chance to join an excellent travel company as a Trading Analyst on a contract basis. We are looking for somebody who can maximise sales opportunities of flight stock by trading seats with other tour operators and promoting seats to key agents. Trading Analyst Responsibilities: *Reviewing the flying programmes and finding opportunities to increase saleable seats by liaising with other tour operators and key agents *Allocating surplus inbound seats to overseas agents on a free-sale basis and monitoring and recording sales *Building and maintaining excellent relationships with key contacts *Providing regular offers for websites, direct email campaigns as well as to key agents and staff to promote slow selling flights Trading Analyst Skills Required: *Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the travel industry *Excellent communication skills *Strong numeracy and analytical skills, along with the ability to plan and prioritise own workload *Proficient in MS Excel and Word *Experience using a reservations system (e.g. Taurus or similar) Additional Information: *This role is starting ASAP and will be for approximately 4 months, possibly longer *Salary is GBP15-16k pro rata *Hours are Monday to Friday If you fit the above criteria and would like to apply for this contract position, please call Catherine on 0207 397 1294 or email your CV to catherinem@candm.co.uk quoting ref CA356. |
