Trading Executive vacancy on a 6 month contract has become available with a large tour operator based in West Sussex. Applicants must have the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the travel industry (preferably through previously working in the travel industry). Excellent communication skills are required to enable effective and professional interaction with key contacts at Tour Operators, Overseas Agents and key UK Agents. A high level of numeracy and analytical skills is required, along with the ability to plan and prioritise own workload. You will be proficient in the use of MS Excel spreadsheets and Word. Responsibilities ·Reviewing the flying programmes and finding opportunities to increase saleable seats by liaising with other Tour Operators and Key Agents. ·Allocating surplus inbound seats to our overseas agents on a free-sale basis and monitoring and recording sales. ·Building and maintaining excellent relationships with key contacts at Tour Operators, Overseas Agents and key UK Agents. ·Providing regular offers for our web sites, direct email campaigns and to Key Agents and Staff to promote slow selling flights ·Providing support to the Yield team This is an excellent opportunity for an individual wishing to pursue a career within the travel industry.
