Offering a basic salary of around GBP65,000 with a bonus of 25% in the first year, with potential to rise up to 100% bonus in time alongside a pension, private health cover will be reward for the successful Sales and Commercial Director of the largest independent travel company based in the North East of England. The Sales and Commercial Director will be directly responsible for the new long haul division and product start up from recruitment of the new team, introduction and implementation of processes and systems alongside product contracting and product negotiating for airlines by securing optimal fares and contracting additional products such as quality hotels and ground handling agents. Backed and supported by a leading travel industry brand with sales initially being supported by an already hugely successful distribution channel of retail outlets, home workers and call centres this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales and Commercial Director with a solid track record in Tour Operations.
