Successful Independent Business Travel Company, offering a rare opportunity to work as a Team leader in their Newcastle based offices, offering progression and training to the right candidate to move into managing their Specialist travel department. This company have a very low turnover of staff, a friendly working environment and are based in a very convenient area, right in the city centre. We are seeking someone with as much passion as experience in Business Travel who is currently looking to progress up the career ladder, who has previous leader, supervisor or management experience, who is looking to expand their knowledge and skills into leading this companies specialist travel department. As the newly appointed Team Leader you will - Manage a team of business travel consultants - Be very hands on getting involved with reservations using Galileo - Work closely with Business Travel Manager and assist with client account management including Specialist Travel As a Business travel Team leader you will ideally have - Previous Business Travel team leader, supervisor or Management experience from within a Business travel environment - Or be an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant or Team Leader wishing to progress to become a Team leader with a view to managing their own department, - Excellent knowledge in Fares and Ticketing as well as a Major CRS This role may suit those who are currently working in a large Business Travel house who want to move into a smaller independent Business travel company, with a more personal BT environment where you deal with every aspect of Business Travel seeing the whole process from start to finish and with the opportunity to learn new skills and progress further. In return you will be working Monday to Friday anytime between 8.30am to 6pm and will expect to earn a salary between 20,000 to 26,000 a year!! dependent on previous business travel experience.
