An outstanding opportunity to join the UKs leading tour operator has become available in Nottingham. This well respected brand offers a network of shops throughout the UK, each of which offers over 400 travel companies ranging from tour operators to cruise lines and airlines to theme parks. The role of Retail Travel Assistant General Manager offers a basic salary of up to 18,500.00 GBP dependent on experience with OTE of 24,500.00 GBP. Within the role of Retail Travel Assistant General Manager you will - Performance manage a team of up to 15 staff to inspire, motivate and encourage self development - Achieve all personal and store targets - Be aware of competitor activity and have the ability to make reservations in all areas of retail travel. To be successful in the role of Retail Travel Assistant General Manager you will - Have the ability to be a very competent Manager, displaying a very hands on approach coaching and developing staff at all times - Be motivated and have the ability to exceed challenging sales targets - Have a proven track record of excellent customer service skills This role would particularly suit those who have continually been a top performer, high-flyer or team leader in a retail travel environment who is now looking for the next step up. We would also welcome applications from individuals who have already been in the role of Assistant Branch Manager, Travel Manager or Team Manager who has the ability to maximise profit margins. In return for this you will receive a basic salary of up to 18,500.00 GBP dependent on experience plus OTE of 24,500.00 GBP along with company benefits such as concessionary holidays. You will be working 5 days per week where you will work on a rota basis throughout the openings of the store, which are 09.00 - 18.00 Monday to Thursday, 09.00 - 19.00 Friday, 09.00 - 18.00 Saturday and 11.00 - 17.00 Sunday. You will be required to work 3 weekends out of 4.
