Are you an experienced IT Support Consultant? A well known Aviation company with bases in Luton, Gatwick and Manchester are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join their busy team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months. IT Support Specialist Responsibilities: Identify and resolve desktop computing problems Interact with event tracking application using established procedures and guidelines Test and evaluate computer hardware and software products as well as recommend products based on the user requirements Serve as a liaison between end user organisations and Corporate IT Provide technical guidance and training to end users and peers Skills Required: 3 years minimum systems client support experience in operations systems including Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Macintosh 8.x, UNIX experience would be advantageous 3 years minimum customer service experience, preferably in a technical capacity. High volume corporate call centre experience preferred Ability to work in a fast paced environment, work independently and to multi task whilst working on complex assignments with an exceptional eye for detail Possess a broad understanding of computing infrastructure including network technologies, client-server applications, multi-tier applications, network printing devices and computer graphics |
