A leading and established independent corporate travel management company based in Manchester are looking for an experienced New Business Sales Manager paying a basic salary of between GBP 30,000 - GBP 40,000 with an OTE of GBP 50,000 - GBP 55,000 alongside an excellent benefits package and a company car or car allowance. This opportunity would suit individuals based in the North of England or alternatively based around the M25 - ( London or South Of England ) whom are looking for a home based opportunity. We are looking for strong new business sales professionals with a track record in identifying new hotel and air accounts from having built excellent relationships with key stakeholders within corporate organisations Within the role of New Business Sales Manager you will - Have a full understanding of the Hotel / Business Travel market place and the drivers - Promote the business travel product range through presentations, demonstrations etc. to senior personnel to support their understanding of the product benefits and efficiencies and assist the decision-making process - Prepare and submit comprehensive tenders during the bid process -Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and to regularly monitor and review all sales activity against budgeted and forecasted targets and discuss any variances that occur - Prepare regular reports, using feedback obtained from client discussions and other information available, with particular emphasis on risks and opportunities, significant to the business plan and on market activity, which will assist revenue planning - Co-ordinate the implementation process for a new account, liaising closely with operations regarding staffing and SLA requirements, strategic relationships regarding hotel rates and account management for continuing business growth - Maintain effective relationships with the Hotel Sales and Account Management team to create optimal business opportunities - Monitor and anticipate the need to manoeuvre in response to changes in the market place Individuals that have been successful within similar Sales Management opportunities have - Experience in a sales management role from either a hotel or travel related industry such as the business - corporate travel arena - Excellent presentation skills - A high level of personal organisation, time management and workload prioritisation - Proven track record in winning new corporate business To apply for this unique opportunity within Sales Management please call JASON on 0161 238 4496, email your up to date CV to jason.smith@candm.co.uk or alternatively apply below |
