Objective of position Manage all non-financial aspects of each flight sector from confirmed order through to arrival and disembarkation and the handling of any overnight accommodation of crews. This has to be managed with acute attention to detail and forward thinking in order to achieve an error free operation. Ensure that the passengers have an entirely stress and error free flight experience through traveling with Reporting Lines This position reports in to the Commercial Ops Department Manager Duties of the position Managing the set up of each sector flight Allocation of crew Prescribing the fuel purchase suppliers and price Ordering the appropriate catering Flight planning Organizing the routing of the aircraft in compliance with regulations Producing the commanders brief with flight plan details Ensuring that all elements of ground handling are being managed properly Flight following Managing all aspects of flight departure and arrival Ensuring take off slots are managed to best effect Communicating any changes of flight plan or slots are communicated to the client or their passengers Ensuring any significant delays on arrival are notified to handling agents and other interested parties The ideal candidate We are seeking both experienced people with good operations experience who also have the capability of speaking to customers and who can work well within a busy environment, maintaining attention to detail and operating very much as a team player. We want people who are flexible and committed as the role can be demanding, and shift patterns are the norm in aviation. Full training would be given for this position along with every encouragement to develop skills. |
