With over 25 years experience in luxury travel, a firmly established reputation as one of the market leaders within the specialist field of luxury holidays this first class Tour Operator has become synonymous with quality holidays and first class personal service are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant paying up to GBP 16,000 with free car parking and other benefits Within the role of Assistant Management Accountant you will� - Prepare monthly Management accounts for the company with a turnover of GBP4M - Be responsible for pre-payments / accruals - maintaining fixed asset register - reconciliations for preparations of trade debtors and creditors - bank reconciliation - maintenance of intercompany accounts - review overheads and provide variance analysis - Be responsible for on-going postings and maintenance of cash books and primary ledger account - i.e. both Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger Control Accounts - Assist in the preparation of Management Accounts - Be responsible for the preparation and reporting of information to a number of external statutory bodies i.e. ABTA and VAT Return. Individuals that have been successful within the role of Assistant Management Accountant have - Qualifications - AAT or level 1 ACMA / ACCA. - A good knowledge of double entry book keeping - Experience of Excel - Exposure to Sage would be a unique advantage.
