An excellent opportunity has arisen to manager the Consumer Marketing department for one of the most successful independent tour operators in the UK. Offering an excellent salary, benefits, concessions and location, this opportunity to develop, implement and evaluate the marketing strategy. Consumer Marketing Manager responsibilities: - Compile, implement and evaluate annual marketing plans and budgets. - Support the Head of Marketing with development of new business/revenue stream opportunities funding and affiliates. - Oversee day-to-day campaign planning, including campaign objectives, proposition targeting and budgets - Oversee all elements of campaign implementation - Ensure consistency of the brand is maintained across all communication vehicles - Test and evaluate new acquisition communications and added value incentives. - Review all competitor monitoring of all acquisition activity and ensure the information is accessible to all staff. Consumer Marketing Manager skills required: - Extensive experience in a Direct Marketing environment in a consumer focussed organisation (ideally travel) - High level of commercial acumen, with extensive experience of marketing strategy development and budget management. - Ideally a DM professional (IDM/CIM) - Excellent experience of understanding marketing databases. - Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written. - Computer literate - Highly organised and self-motivated.
