St Kitts 'to become envy of the world'
Travel industry news brought to you by C & M Recruitment, specialists in business travel jobs.St Kitts is set to become an increasingly popular tourism destination, it has been suggested.
According to Ricky Skerrit, tourism minister for the country, told TravelMole that moves to provide an "authentic" Caribbean experience have seen the island focus on providing attractive amenities for holidaymakers.
It was pointed out that the Frigate Bay strip has been developed to incorporate a number of bars which serve local food and drink.
Meanwhile scuba diving, the Brimstone Hill Military Fortress and major sport and music events were put forward as reasons for why the island is projected to see an increase in tourist levels, in news which might be of interest to those with travel agent jobs.
He said: "We are on the verge of creating a tourism product that will be the envy of the world and one that people will be happy to travel to whatever the route, distance or cost."
Earlier this year, World Travel and Tourism Council Amir Girgis reported that Cuba could become an increasingly attractive destination for holidaymakers.
