Corsica 'offers both adventure activities and luxury'

Such is the assertion of Lucy White, editor of the Rough Guide to Corsica, who reports that the French tourism destination not only caters for those wanting a luxurious, high-end vacation, but can also provide a "more down-to-earth physical experience, offering great activities".
The various pursuits available at Corsica were revealed to include mountain biking, canyoning and horseriding, with the editor also stating there are numerous boat-trips on offer to islets and caves situated throughout the destination.
She said: "The island is dependably hot and sunny in the summer; beaches and boat trips are often inundated with bronzed holidaymakers."
Ms White also claimed Corsica is "relatively easy to get to", news that could be of interest to people working in the travel industry.
