Mexico is a "romantic destination"

Alyson Cook, editor at Luxury Travel magazine, said that there had been mass investment in the country and that Los Cabos and Baja California offered something for those looking for adventure, while there were also "newer" destinations such as Oaxaca and Chiapas.
She added that Los Cabos and Baja California were good places for a spot of celebrity spotting as the A-listers were attracted to the hip location.
For those looking for excitement, Ms Cook advised: "[In Oaxaca, Queretaro and Chiapas] it's not just staying in a hotel, it's walks in the jungle, communing with the animals, going to climb the cultural pyramids - that's more adventurous.
