Social networking site launched for business travel sector
Travel industry news brought to you by C & M Recruitment, specialists in business travel jobs.A social networking website has been launched dedicated for those with business travel jobs, it has been revealed.
Claiming to be first site of its kinds, Sssource.com aims to provide information for corporate buyers on areas such as airlines, car rental, travel management companies and expense payment systems.
In addition, the portal allows those with travel jobs to create their own personal profile and network with others in the industry, TravelMole reported.
Karen McGee, managing director of the website, pointed out that for corporate travel buyers and suppliers have been demanding their own social networking website "for some time".
She said: "Buyers will welcome the chance to link up with other buyers and where they choose to do so with suppliers and industry experts to obtain advice."
In other news of potential interest to those with business travel jobs it was recently revealed that Expedia Corporate Travel has rebranded itself to be known as Egencia.
