HRG launches ground transportation service
Travel industry news brought to you by C & M Recruitment, specialists in business travel jobs.The Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) has rolled out an integrated ground transportation service, it has been revealed.
In a partnership with GroundScope, the system - entitled HRG Ground Transportation - will allow business travel to make bookings for land-based transport at the same time as they file hotel and flight reservations.
An integrated service, the firm points out that any changes made to air and accommodation bookings will automatically update any relevant ground transportation requirements.
Brian Merry, director of products at HRG, claimed that the new service "enables companies to consolidate their ground transportation spend and provides vital information about what is being spent where, giving businesses better control than ever before".
Such news could be of interest to those with business travel agent jobs.
Limousine, taxi and chauffeur-driven services will be available under the initiative.
In other news, it was recently revealed that HRG had landed a multimillion-pound business contract with Lloyds Pharmacy, where it will handle the firm's business travel and meeting room requirements.
