Business Travel Week launched
Travel industry news brought to you by C & M Recruitment, specialists in business travel jobs.A week-long array of events dedicated to those with business travel jobs is to take place in London, it has been revealed.
Launched by Centaur Media and the Institute of Travel Management (ITM), Business Travel Week will incorporate a number of award ceremonies, exhibitions and conferences for travel management companies (TMCs), buyers and others in the industry.
Starting February 9th, the week will include the Business Travel Show, Travel Buyer Technology Showcase and Business Travel Innovation Awards.
David Chapple, event director at Centaur Media, said: "We have chosen to stage the week in London because the city has always been a major centre for the business travel industry with many of the airlines, hotel groups and TMCs located here."
He added that the event will be of greater use for business travel professionals across the continent than "one show ever can" be.
Meanwhile, a recent ITM study showed 31 per cent of travel buyers are optimistic about the future of the worldwide business travel industry.
