The roles that come under Administration do vary according to the individual company and can often cross over with Ticketing and Customer Service. C&M Travel Recruitment work with many of the major business and leisure travel companies across the UK to provide Administration staff solutions. There are a number of roles that C&M Travel Recruitment recruit for in the Administration sector including: As an Administrator, you will be a member of the support team to the Travel Consultants or Business Travel Consultants and generally your day to day tasks will include responsibilities for invoicing, checking confirmations and sending relevant travel documents out to your clients as well as general administration duties. An admin assistant will provide support to the general administrator and this could include preparing document wallets and general itineraries as well as providing general office support and data entry. Administration Manager or Senior Administrator will oversee the day to day running of the Administration department ensuring that all documentation, stationery and facilitating the provision of all necessary information to the Admin team. The Admin Manager will also effectively control the department workload. You must have previous experience in a travel administration role and knowledge of fares and ticketing is often preferred.
