Business travel is travel for a purpose and to a destination determined by the business, with all costs met by that business. There are large global companies who hire specialist Business travel companies to fulfil their needs, and other companies have ‘implants' within their offices to look after their staffs business travel needs. C&M Travel Recruitment work with many of the major business travel companies including American Express, Carlson Wagonlit and HRG across the UK. Within the Business Travel sector, there are a variety of roles that C&M Travel Recruitment recruit for including: Business Travel Consultants It is the Consultants responsibility to look after the booking from start to finish. This will include booking domestic, European and worldwide flights, hotels, transfers and car hire using a CRS (Computer Reservation System). The main 4 used are Sabre, Worldspan, Amadeus and Galileo, and experience in a CRS is generally required. You must also generally have knowledge of nett and published fares. Senior Business Travel Consultants are experienced Business Travel Consultants with a wealth of knowledge in business travel, using a CRS and nett and published fares. Business Travel Managers as Business Travel Manager you will manage a team of Consultants and be a hands on Manager. You will be responsible for rota arrangements and recruiting new staff. You will also be required to get involved in client account management. You will have experience as a Senior Business Travel Consultant or Team Leader.
