Wayne Pearce named Oman Air CEO

Oman Air has appointed former Gold Medal Travel boss Wayne Pearce as its new CEO.

The arrival of Pearce is among the first major industry appointments this year and he brings with him a wealth of experience from Quantas.

Pearce said: "I look forward to helping the company both prosper and grow, as well as playing a strong role in the development of Oman's travel and tourism industry.

"Oman Air has achieved enormous progress in recent years and has emerged as one of the world's leading luxury airlines.
