New TripAdvisor helpline for bosses
Destination review website TripAdvisor has created a new division that will help business owners who want to complain about postings on its web pages.

The travel recruitment sector has welcomed the appointment of Sue Worth as manager of the customer care division for Africa, the Middle East and Europe.

Announcing the move at the World Travel Market trade event, the company said the aim is to give "superior customer experience" to those who used the site.

Worth said: "I am very much looking forward to developing the relationships we have with our European members and owners."

A new support number has also been created that business owners can contact for advice and information.

John Dila, TripAdvisor's director of customer care, said this would send "a strong message about our commitment to deliver quality customer care for accommodation owners."

Initially the new division will only be established in the UK and Italy before being filtered out to Germany, Spain and France and then onto 25 other countries.
