TravelTainment CEO joins Multicom

TravelTainment CEO joins Multicom

Travel software firm Multicom have hired former TravelTainment boss Andrew Owen-Jones as a consultant.

His new role at the software company will be as an advisor to the company's global expansion plans. The major travel job  appointment will see Owen-Jones switch from his CEO role at the Amadeus Leisure Group company to Multicom.

Prior to his role as CEO, Owen-Jones was joint managing director at TravelTainment, where he was responsible for establishing the company in France and Britain. The new Multicom recruit has a strong background in strategy having also led Amadeus's international strategy for tourism before moving on to TravelTainment.

Multicom said it was delighted to have secured the services of Andrew Owen-Jones on the basis of his deep understanding of their sector and of the international markets that the firm is hoping to expand into.

Mr Owen-Jones said: "This is an exciting time to be working with Multicom and a fresh challenge that I am looking forward to with relish."
