Teletext adds travel blogger Shaw

A leading financial journalist has taken one of the more niche travel jobs  around at Teletext Holidays.

Former Independent deputy money editor Esther Shaw has become a blogger at the holiday firm, offering advice on ways to save for trips abroad and how to travel on a budget as well as working on its social media output.

She said: "As a keen traveller I'm always looking for the best ways to save on holidays and I'm looking forward to sharing my tips with followers of Teletext Holidays.

"My professional life is spent helping people make sense of the money maze so I hope people will find my blogs full of practical advice."

Teletext Holidays managing director Mark Bloxham welcomed her, saying: "We want to experiment more with our social media channels and appointing an independent blogger is a first for us.

"Esther will be providing regular updates on our own blog and via our Twitter and Facebook feeds.
