Silversea reveals new year incentives

Silversea agents can receive 20% commission on January bookings as part of a new programme of incentives for 2012.

The luxury cruise line revealed agents can earn the percentage on new bookings made by January 31 for trips leaving between January and the end of June.

While this news has probably come too soon for those seeking travel jobs at the moment, it is an indication of what benefits they could enjoy should their search for a job with a cruise line prove successful.

Alongside this opportunity, the firm also launched a sell to sail incentive, giving agents the chance to win a free cruise for themselves on the back of their hard work.

To qualify, agents must book three new suites by the end of January for voyages in the first six months of this year.

Mike Bonner, general manager, UK, Ireland & Middle East, said: "We have launched both initiatives to continue our support to the trade. This should help boost their sales and receive rewards in the process."
